We take the safety of our athletes very seriously and require all of our coaches and chaperones to complete the USATF background check. Coaches and chaperones are also required to complete the USATF SafeSport course and adhere to the the policies laid out in our PARTICIPANT SAFETY HANDBOOK for COACHES. The SafeSport course covers fourteen lesson areas that include, but are not limited to, sexual, physical and emotional misconduct; local and overnight travel; bullying and harassment. Parents and athletes are also expected to read and follow the PARTICIPANT SAFETY HANDBOOK for PARENTS AND ATHLETES.
You will find all New Mexico Sol Coaches who have completed these requirements on the USATF Coaches Registry.
